Now Moment

Could you explain what you mean by the Now Moment?
...

For a very long time, too many of us have had a tough time seeing how our thought process contributes and is responsible for our present life experience. Fortunately, this is changing and many of us truly seeing the direct connection between our thoughts and how our lives play out. However, a new time is dawning and the spiritual pioneers amongst us are taking yet another leap forward for the evolution of all mankind. We begin this new phase by opening our Awareness up to the fact that Time is not quite as sequential and, therefore, as static as we've been led to believe.

NOW is all there is. And what exactly IS Now? It is nothing less than Eternity--that in which we are ALways immersed in.

Time, as WE have arranged it (or agreed to see it) projects the past and the future out into a forward and backward direction but, if we are to truly sit up and take notice of the situation as it really exists, we would see that the past and the future are the stretched figments of our imaginations at play, while this Eternal Moment is all that is REAL--from it all experience flows out into actuality.

The past, especially, seems more real by comparison to the future which tends to assert more of a potentiality, however, it is only habit that makes us accept either of it as real--The Conspiracy of Time, as I call it. What we take for granted as "Reality" in terms of Time, is but a belief system that is meant to engage our full and undivided attention on the Illusion and the Maya because there IS no time other than this focused Moment. Anyone with the ability to fully absorb the significance of this message could instantly glimpse Enlightenment.

If we are to refine ourselves further, the new thought that must take firmer root is that all Time (past, present, and future) are simultaneous occurrances, this means that the past and future are all part of present and that everything we experience is due to PRESENT perception. Therefore, if we wish to experience something different, we must imagine it in the NOW (for the reality is that tomorrow never comes.) This is a most empowering realization when we finally "get" it because it penetrates right to the core of manifestation where no "time" is necessary to bring something into existence.

Consider this: the reason our past and future ALways seem to leave us feeling empty--either pained and/or lacking--is because we've stepped out of REAL time. Real time is the center-point out of which life flows, whereas false time is the periphery of our imaginary thoughts. Gripped as we are by the power of imagination, we slip on the Banana-peel-of-Ego and distance ourselves from our Authentic-Self core. Each time we think, imagine, believe, suppose, dream, hope, project, etc.. we have stepped out of Real time. Spellbound by the creative moorings of our Minds capabilities, we compulsively, but unconsciously, create repetitive circles of experiences that range from the torturous to the tedious because we don't understand what we're doing. And so, when we DO begin to understand the mindgames that can trap us, there is really no excuse for our not making a concerted effort to stop operating on automatic, and begin practicing being wholly and completely Present (with ourselves and with others.)

Finally, if our entertaining of past and future leaves us with a prevailing sense of emptiness and lack, it is because IMAGININGS are *not* HAPPENINGS. All that HAPPENS, happens in the NOW. If it isn't happening, it isn't Now. If it isn't Now, it simply ISN'T real. The Now Moment is a totality--it contains EVERYthing--and is therefore PERFECT--and so, by shifting our attention from our atmospheric imaginings, we free ourselves to Awaken to the reality-flow of Now's Presence.

How does one find, achieve spiritual balance?... If we are to experience the positive and negative of our past lives, how do we rectify, so to speak, so that we are in balance?
...

First of all, all balance is spiritual balance (I am remind the reader that we are spirit having a human experience, not the other way around). Secondly, balancing ourselves is an on-going process, not a definitive achievement (much like saying it is a journey not a destination.)

Now, what most people have a very hard time grasping and remembering is that ALL experience occurs in this very moment--in the Now. It may SEEM that this moment contains only a small segment of our lives, but this is the limited perspective of our ego who is assessing its experience, not the Reality of the matter. The fact is that ALL experience (including past lives and parallel ones as well) happens right Now. The solution to your question lies in this understanding. If everything occurs Now then even rectifications take place in it. The better question would be to ask not 'how' but 'when'. Practicing mindfulness is the practice of being totally present to the Now. If we had the presence of mind to stay in this moment, THAT would immediately remedy our imbalance. it's as simple as maintaining the stance of the Observer, indefinitely.. easier said than done.. and yet, practice does indeed make perfect.
